The Author
I am a lifelong member of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and I enjoy studying and talking about both religion and politics.
I grew up in California, served a mission to the Chile Santiago North Mission from 1978-1980. I attended BYU and graduated with a bachelors degree in Spanish Translation & Interpretation and a minor in Portuguese. My wife Susan and I met at BYU and were sealed in the Los Angeles temple. We have three daughters, Faith, Shea, and Sophie and make our home in the mountain west.
I spend my time on my family, my calling and politics. I believe that in order to
fulfill brother Joseph's prophecy on the Constitution, that we as Latter-day Saints
will need to be "anxiously engaged" in organizing ourselves outside of, but in perfect
alignment with, the ecclesiastical organization of the church. I would be very
interested in hearing ideas on how we might organize ourselves so that we can "bring to
pass much righteousness" as we work toward that goal. If you have any ideas you'd like
